Meal Bundle x 7 Meals

Love the food,but wish there were varieties other than Rice with almost everything.

I ordered a bundle of food for my mum, who is elderly and no longer wishes to cook for herself. Having readymade meals in the freezer is a great solution. Mum did find the heating instructions confusing, as she missed that she had to cook it for 5 min, stir it, then cook it some more. I would also suggest some improvements with your customer service, as I have sent 2 messages and have yet to receive a response.

The first food I tried was the Achee and salfish so tasty and lovely . The second one the peppered steak meal that was soft and succulent the meat really enjoyed.

Great tasting, authentic Jamaican food. However, just too much on the spicy side. For the jerk, I wish the sauce was separate from the chicken, and you can add how much you want yourself. Maybe pop the jerk sauce in a small container? All in all, I was happy with my purchase.

The choices of the 7 meals was varied and showed a broad section of a typical traditional Caribbean meal. It was very wholesome and tasty. First night we had the two goat curry and the sticky chicken. Rice and curry was enough for 1 person. I would say value for money. Communication was very poor and I almost cancelled as you cannot contact them by phone. After 4 days I had heard nothing and the SHOP app did not work or show when it was ready, in transit or be delivered. We need to order again to see the consistency in value and taste. Overall, very impressive and tradionally authentic. Improvements could be: 1. Allow the buyer to select their favourite 7 meals. 2. Better communication (ability to pay by PAYPAL maybe). 3. Offer hot pepper sauce (encona) and condiments (roti) as a side. 4. Offer online drinks ideas which would compliment each meal (stripe or guinness). 5. Offer online stories of how these meals became traditional. 6. If I am being too needy then please ignore my thoughts.

The meals so far have been very nice . My partner thought the jerk chicken was too hot .

Bought these for my mum as she finds it hard to cook her own jamaican food, so far we have only had the curry goat with white rice, it was lovely and very authentic taste, meat was nice and tender only slight criticism it could have done with more sauce. Oxtail with rice and peas later, will let you know how she gets on

This is the leftovers over the Curry Chicken with the Okra and hard food. My mother was diagnosed with a mix of Alzheimer’s and Dementia a few months ago and now she has carers coming in the meals on wheels she was not happy with, as she wanted Caribbean food so I did some research and found you guys. She is really enjoying the food and I will definitely be ordering more on a regular basis. It’s tasty (I tried some myself) and convenient for the carers to heat up for her. Great food, good size portions but delivery unreliable

Reminds me of Yard! Surprisingly good flavours for a frozen ready meal. I actually met this company at last year's Black Business Show in London and decided to try out their meals. I wasn't disappointed. Great portion sizes, unlike most ready meals. To improve, I'd prefer if you could easily separate the meat portion from the rice (eg perforated edge). I like to heat the meat in the oven and rice in the microwave. Keep up the good work and looking forward to my next delivery.

Purchased for an elderly aunt . Who has proven to be a challenged to buy frozen meals that she could enjoy , although initially she was apprehensive that they would equal what she was use to when she cooked herself . The meals are easy to cook from frozen in a microwave , with clear instructions. Never gave full marks as the gravy exceeded the amount of meat given , although enough food provide for aunt .

About time! We need more caribbean food out there to get online. Not all that love caribbean in a place to buy it. Excellant so far, plentiful and value for money.

I think this product is just fantastic, and I will always be a customer. It saves time for me and the food tastes better than some of the dinners, I have brought at some Caribbean take-aways. I did not think frozen Caribbean food would still retains its flavour. I am looking forward to the new products . Keep up the good work. I cannot thank Jamaica On Ice enough for the brilliant idea! I saw the advert on Facebook by chance and decided to give it a go and so glad I did! I have ordered the 7 meal set box option twice and am about to place an order for the third time. Every meal tastes delicious but my favourites have got to be the oxtail and jerk chicken. Yum!

My mum enjoyed the meals, however I think it would be nicer if there was some vegetables with the meat and rice dishes to make it a bit more balanced.

Loved the food but was disappointed that I couldn’t have rice and peas with all the dishes instead of plain rice. I would definitely order again if this was an option.

I bought the meal set of 7 for my 92 year old nan. She takes very little pleasure in food these days and isn’t afraid to comment on the lack of flavour! But she is absolutely loving these meals. She is saving the ackee and saltfish (her fave) to last. Think I might by one for myself!

Lovely food and excellent service! I heard about this company on a 'hidden truth webinar' and thought I'd try the food and support the business. I was impressed with the website, the packaging, service and professionalism. I have only tried one out of the seven meals so far (curry goat and rice) and it was lovely so I'm looking forward to the others. My only criticism, would be that there is no option to choose a delivery time window and the courier will not leave the parcel unless someone is home. It was just luck that a member of the family was in at the time it was delivered. Other than that, I highly recommend this company. Thank you!
